What is infrared photography?

Infrared, or “IR” photography, offers the world of the unseen. Why “unseen”? Because our eyes literally cannot see IR light, as it lies just beyond what is classified as the “visible” spectrum of light– that which human eyesight can detect. When we take photographs using infrared-equipped cameras, we are exposed to a world that can often look very different from that we are accustomed to seeing. Colors, textures, leaves and plants, human skin, and all other manners of objects can reflect IR light in unique and interesting ways, ones that cannot be mimicked with tools such as Photoshop or other photo editing tools. Zeph uses a camera that has been fully converted to take infrared photography and along with different lens’ filters can create different and unique imagery.

Do prints come with or without a white border?

Yes. All prints come with a small white border. The print sizes listed for each print is the total paper surface area of the final product. Adding a white border slightly reduces the size of the actual printed image but is done to help facilitate matting and framing options. 

All images shown on the website have the Aqua Art by Zeph logo in the bottom right-hand corner. Do prints and Resin Arts come with this logo?

No. The logo is not present on any print or resin art. It is on the website and other promotional images only and helps serve as a watermark.

Do all prints and Resin Arts (framed or not) come signed by the artist?

Yes. All prints and custom pieces come with the artist’s signature embedded in the bottom right-hand corner of the image itself.

Do framed artworks come ready to hang on a wall?

Yes. Whether you purchase a pre-made framed artwork or place a custom order for Resin Art, both come ready to hang on a wall.

How long will my order take?

For prints, this is usually 1-5 days (depending on the volume of orders). 

For custom orders of Resin Arts please allow 3-4 weeks as each one is individually handmade.

Shipping

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship internationally for prints.

If you live outside Australia and would like to purchase a Resin Art (framed or unframed) then please contact us to explore shipping options.

What shipping method do you use?

Within Australia, we use Australia Post for both prints and Resin Arts. If you prefer a different method of shipping please contact us to make arrangements for this. 

For International deliveries of prints, we use Australia Post unless other shipping methods are requested. Please keep in mind that shipping times and methods will vary depending on the country being shipped to. Contact us to discuss details and we will then be able to give you a quote on the shipping cost. All shipping costs are required to be paid before shipping. 

Please note: any duties payable on the import of goods to another country outside of Australia is out of our control and are payable by the customer to the local authority or postal service.

How much does it cost for shipping?

Within Australia, shipping on all print orders is FREE.

Shipping cost for pre-made and custom order Resin Arts will vary depending on the size and weight of the artwork. Please request a quote for shipping on such pieces.

You will have the chance to review the cost before finalising your transaction.

How are prints shipped?

All A4 size prints are sent via Australia Post, packaged in clear archival plastic sleeves and placed within rigid mailers (very strong cardboard designed specifically for mailing artwork). This packaging is very effective in protecting your print.   

All prints above A4 size are sent in heavy-duty tubes via Australia Post to ensure they are not bent or damaged in transit.

Resin Arts (framed or unframed) are professionally packed using bubble wrap and are then securely boxed in custom packaging to avoid any damage.

Once your artwork has been dispatched you will be sent a tracking number so you can monitor delivery. Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure your purchase can be delivered and signed for at the nominated delivery address. Failure of delivery, unfortunately, incurs a redelivery fee which must be passed on.

Please note that we cannot ship to Post Office boxes. 

If a print is damaged in transit, please Contact Us immediately and we will attend to the issue to provide a quick resolution for you.

Failed Delivery

If the item is lost due to an incorrect address we will endeavour to help track the item, however, in some cases, service providers may deem the item lost in transit if they are unable to locate it.  Aqua Art by Zeph cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen mail due to incorrect address or failing to have someone present to sign for the parcel if and when a parcel may be left unattended, for any reason.

General

Cleaning and Care

As all prints are printed on very high quality paper we recommended you do not handle your print with bare hands to avoid fingerprint oils from getting onto the printed surface which can degrade the print. We recommend using a clean environment and cotton gloves when dealing with unframed prints. The best practice is to take the print to a framer of your choice for framing as soon as possible after receiving the print to reduce the possibility of damage to the print. All prints are quality checked prior to packaging and shipping and Aqua Art by Zeph cannot be held responsible for any damage to a print once received.

Custom made Resin Arts are best cleaned with a microfibre cloth. A very light pressure is all that is needed to remove any dust or particles from the artwork. If needed the cloth can be slightly dampened and used on the resin, metal or wood frame surfaces.

If you prefer to complete your purchase via Direct Debit / Bank Transfer please contact us and we will send you an invoice. Production will commence when payment has cleared.

Returns and Exchanges (within Australia only)

Aqua Art by Zeph would like you to feel confident when purchasing online and we want to make sure that you are satisfied with your purchases. We have taken measures to accurately list and describe the products on this website. As each order is a customised order from you, we are unable to accept returns or offer exchanges. Please review your order to ensure your selections are correct.

Faulty Items and Damages

All items are thoroughly checked before sending and packaged with care. If you receive a package that is visually damaged or opened, make sure this is noted with the carrier before signing for your order. In the unlikely event that you receive an item that is faulty or damaged please contact us and we will work with you to resolve the matter.
